Using Acer Care Center for Automatic Updates
Manually checking for driver updates every month is tedious. Acer provides a built-in solution: the Acer Care Center.
How to use it:
- Launch the Acer Care Center from your Start menu.
- Click on the Checkup tab.
- Click Check for updates.
- The tool will scan Acer’s servers for newer versions of drivers, BIOS, and pre-installed software.
- Select the updates you want and click Install.
Note: While convenient, the Care Center may not have the very latest beta or hotfix drivers found on the official website. For critical issues, always cross-reference with the web portal.
