The most significant new feature in Baldi's Basics Plus v0.7.1 is the automated field trip skip using the Bus Pass.  Key Additions 

Johnny's Bus Pass Utility: You can now give a Bus Pass to Johnny when a field trip is available. Johnny will go on the trip in your place and return with three randomly selected items.

Note: While this saves time, you lose the opportunity to earn a "perfect bonus" or choose specific items yourself.

Steam Timeline Support: The game now supports Steam’s recording feature. Your recording timeline will automatically highlight key gameplay moments like: Wins and losses. New high scores. Fixed softlock where exit door could spawn inside

5. Bug Fixes (Notable)

• Fixed softlock where exit door could spawn inside a classroom.
• Fixed Johny’s tape persisting between floors (caused crashes).
• Fixed Baldi’s ruler slap animation not playing on diagonal movement.
• Fixed saving issue where floor 3+ would reset item spawns incorrectly.

6. Known Issues (as of v0.7.1)

• Rare crash when using Portal Poster near the school exit.
• Mrs. Pomp’s scream sometimes triggered through walls (patched partially, but not fully).
• Principal’s Keys could despawn if dropped on a moving conveyor belt.

B. New Character: Johny (The Tape Recorder)

• Behavior: Johny silently moves around the school. When he spots you, he records your current location on his tape.
• Effect: After recording, Baldi will be teleported directly to that spot after a 5-second delay.
• Counter: You can pick up Johny’s dropped tape (after he records) and place it elsewhere to misdirect Baldi.
• Strategy: Avoid letting Johny see you near important objectives. Use his tape as a decoy.

C. Comfy Difficulty Mode

• For beginners or relaxed play: Baldi moves slower, fewer characters spawn, and you get extra lives (3 per floor).
• No achievement lock: You can still unlock progress, but leaderboard scores are reduced.
• Good for: Learning floor layouts, practicing item use, or stress-free sessions.
