CrownLTE Custom ROM (Updated – Q2 2025): A Resurrection Worth Celebrating

The Short Verdict:
This updated ROM transforms the 2018 Galaxy S9 from a security-risk e-waste candidate into a surprisingly snappy, modern device. It’s not perfect (battery life takes a hit), but for the price of free, you’re getting a near-flagship 2025 experience.

  • Working: Everything. Bluetooth LDAC, VoLTE (in supported regions), Wi-Fi calling, and even Samsung’s LED View Cover.
  • The Catch: No Samsung Camera. You must use Google Camera (GCam) or Open Camera. Fortunately, GCam 8.4 mods work flawlessly on the crownlte sensor.
