1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to the cs.rin.ru forum. This platform is a community-driven space dedicated to discussions regarding software, gaming, and reverse engineering. By accessing, browsing, or registering an account on this forum, you explicitly agree to abide by these Rules and Guidelines. If you do not agree with any part of these rules, you must immediately cease using the forum.

The administration reserves the right to modify these rules at any time without prior notice. It is the responsibility of every member to review these rules periodically. Ignorance of the rules is not a valid excuse for violating them.

The Antivirus Paradox

The forum rules explicitly state: "Do not post about false positives." Almost every crack, emulator, or Steam DLL file on CS.RIN.RU will trigger Windows Defender, Malwarebytes, or Avast. Why? Because they manipulate memory processes and hook DLLs—exactly what malware does.

The rule: You do not ask, "Is this file safe?" That question is considered an insult to the long-term uploaders. You either trust the community (who has been verified for a decade) or you leave. Posting a VirusTotal link and screaming "VIRUS!" will result in an instant ban.

Part 2: The "No Denuvo Requests" Policy

This is the most strictly enforced rule on the forum. You cannot request cracks for games protected by Denuvo Anti-Tamper that are not yet cracked. General Forum Rules

Denuvo is a highly sophisticated DRM. As of the time of writing, only a few individuals (Empress, historically Codex) can crack newer versions. These cracks take months and generate extreme toxicity.

The exact rule: If a game is confirmed to have Denuvo and has not been cracked, any thread or post asking for a crack will be instantly deleted. The user will receive a permanent ban.

Why? The forum administrators are tired of the daily spam. "When is [Game X] cracked?" has been asked millions of times. The answer is always: "When it is ready, or never." Discussing bypasses, crowdfunding Denuvo cracks, or demanding updates on Empress’s status is also forbidden.

The exception: You may discuss already cracked Denuvo games (e.g., Resident Evil Village after its crack) and troubleshooting them.

4. Malware and Link Safety

This is where RIN shines compared to smaller "warez" blogs.

  • VT (VirusTotal) Links: If you upload a file, you are generally expected to provide a VirusTotal scan link.
  • Repackers: The forum has strict rules regarding "repackers" (people who compress and redistribute games). Established repackers (like Masquerade or other trusted members) are vetted. Random new users trying to upload executables will be scrutinized heavily.
  • Shortened Links: URL shorteners (like bit.ly, adfly) that generate money are strictly banned. Users should post direct links. This ensures transparency—users need to know exactly where a link is sending them.

2. Registration and Account Security

2.1. Account Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to register for an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

2.2. One Account Per User: Each individual is permitted only one user account. Creating multiple accounts (also known as "sockpuppeting" or "aliasing") is strictly prohibited. If you are found to be operating multiple accounts, all associated accounts may be permanently banned, and your IP address may be blocked. Be Respectful : Treat others as you would like to be treated

2.3. Username Policy: Usernames must not be offensive, abusive, sexual in nature, or impersonate forum staff, developers, or other members. Usernames containing slurs, hate speech, or excessive profanity will be rejected or changed by staff.

2.4. Password Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password. You agree to notify the administration immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. The administration cannot be held liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

2.5. Account Transfers: Selling, trading, or transferring your account to another individual is strictly forbidden.

Part 7: No Repost of Scene Releases

The "Scene" (organized piracy groups like Razor1911, FLT, HOODLUM) have their own distribution channels. cs.rin.ru has a rule: Do not repost Scene releases if they are already available on common indexers (Predb, SRR).

Instead, link to the original NFO file. The forum prefers original cracks made by members over simple reposts of Scene material. If you post a direct copy of a Scene ISO you downloaded from Usenet, a moderator will delete it and tell you to contribute something original.

Rule 6: No Pointless "Thank you" Spam

In many forums, bumping a thread with "thanks" is fine. On CS.RIN.RU, it is noise. If a cracker releases a new tool, do not reply with "THANKS BRO." Use the "Like" (Thumbs Up) button instead. Posts containing only "thank you," "cool," or "first!" will be deleted, and your account will be flagged.

Part 5: The Steam File Structure – Why Rules Exist

To understand the rules, you must understand the forum's purpose. cs.rin.ru does not typically host pre-cracked repacks (like FitGirl or Dodi). Instead, it specializes in Clean Steam Files (CSF) and separate crack only releases.

The rule: When you upload a game, you must upload the original, untouched Steam files plus a separate folder containing the crack. You cannot merge them. You cannot repack into an EXE installer.

Why? Because the forum preserves originality. If Steam updates the game tomorrow, users only need to download a small crack update, not re-download 100GB of repacked data. Violating this file structure rule leads to thread deletion.
