Don Sebastián agrees to provide warriors and supplies, but at a high political price: John must marry his daughter, Victoria, to seal a blood alliance. El capítulo comienza con John Cannon (interpretado por Leif Erickson) llegando a su nuevo rancho, un lugar casi en ruinas que alguna vez fue una misión española. Lo acompaña su segunda esposa, Victoria (Linda Cristal), una mujer mexicana fuerte y elegante, y su hijo adolescente, Billy Blue (Michael Burns).
