Step 1: Disable Antivirus (Temporarily) Portable reset tools are often flagged as "HackTool" by antivirus software. This is a false positive because the tool manipulates device firmware. Disable Windows Defender or your third-party AV for 5 minutes.
Step 2: Put the Printer into "Service Mode" This is the most critical step. You cannot run the resetter in normal mode.

A Portable version of the Epson M100 Resetter does not require installation.
The Epson M100 is an inkjet printer designed for high-volume printing, often used in small to medium-sized businesses or homes with significant printing needs. It's known for its reliability and cost-effectiveness, particularly with its refillable ink tank system.
This portable tool (often called the AdjProg or Adjustment Program) is designed specifically for the Epson M100 monochrome ink tank printer. Its primary job is to reset the waste ink pad counter – a safety feature that eventually triggers a “Parts life end” or “Service required” error, locking the printer even if it works perfectly. Unlike full driver or firmware installations, the portable version runs directly from a USB drive or desktop – no installation needed.

Resetting the counter does not physically clean or replace the waste ink pads. If pads are truly soaked, ink will leak inside your printer. For long-term health, physically clean or replace pads after 2–3 resets. Step 3: Launch the Portable Tool
