   Navigate to Tools > SHSH > Manage SHSH – if an entry exists for the target version, it may be invalid. Delete it and retry.

3. Test raw TSS request:
   Use command-line tsschecker (from tihmstar). Run:
   tsschecker -m BuildManifest.plist -d <DeviceID> -e <ECID> -s
   If external request also fails → Apple signing issue or network block.

4. Network capture:
   Monitor with Wireshark/Fiddler: look for HTTP 404/403 responses to /api/sign endpoints.

Prevent This Error in the Future

Don’t wait until you need to restore. Set a reminder:

1. Save blobs every month: Use 3uTools > Save SHSH > One-Click Fetch.
2. Bookmark ipsw.me: Always check signing status before opening 3uTools.
3. Disable auto-update in 3uTools: Go to Settings > General > Disable "Auto-check for new version."
