Let’s clear up a common misconception immediately: A Fullbright resource pack does not require mod loaders like Forge or Fabric. It is a simple texture pack that alters the game's lighting engine by modifying the built-in shaders.
Normally, Minecraft has a "gamma" slider in the video settings. However, vanilla Minecraft limits this slider to a maximum of "Moody" to "Bright." The Fullbright 1.12.2 Resource Pack overrides this limitation, effectively setting the world's brightness to maximum. It removes the "darkness" filter, allowing you to see blocks in complete darkness as if they were in direct sunlight. ⚠️ Note : This does not actually increase
