Method B: The Original Purchase Email

Search your inbox (including spam) for emails from:

• Revenera (noreply@revenera.com)
• Digital River (if purchased before 2020)
• Your reseller or distribution partner (e.g., SHI, Insight, SoftwareOne)

The subject line often contains: “Your InstallShield Order Confirmation” or “Product Key for InstallShield 202X”

For InstallShield 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 (Modern Interface)

1. Install InstallShield using the default installer.
2. Launch the application. If not activated, a “Product Activation” dialog appears immediately.
3. Paste your activation key into the field. Use Ctrl+V – do not retype; it’s easy to mistake O for 0 or 1 for I.
4. Click “Activate Online” (requires internet).
   • Offline activation? Click “Manual Activation” → generate a request file → upload to the Revenera portal → download the response file → load it into the dialog.
5. Restart InstallShield – the activation is now complete.
