The Spindle (The Cutting Tool)

The DMC10 typically ships with a 200W to 300W DC brushless spindle spinning up to 10,000 RPM.

  • How it works: Unlike a rotary tool (Dremel), a CNC spindle is designed for continuous duty. It uses ER11 collets to hold bits ranging from 0.5mm to 6mm. As the spindle spins, it moves through the material, shaving away layers according to the toolpath.
