While the standard Xlim and Xlim Pro are "plug-and-play," newer specialized versions offer deeper customization:

Standard Xlim/Xlim Pro/SQ Pro: These generally do not have user-updatable firmware. If you encounter display or firing issues, a hard reset (5-click power cycle) or cleaning the pod contacts is the standard fix. How to Update (DNA Version Only)

Connect Your Device: Use a high-quality USB-C data cable to plug your Xlim Pro 2 DNA into your PC or Mac.

Check for Updates: Once recognized, the software will automatically prompt you if a newer service pack or firmware version is available. Close the updater

8. Finish and test

• Close the updater.
• Unplug the device.
• Click fire button 5 times to turn it on.
• Reinsert the pod.
• Check battery indicator, puff counter, or any feature that was fixed by the update.

When NOT to Update

• Battery % jumps around? – Try resetting device (5 clicks on/off) first.
• Device works fine.
• No official update file listed for your exact model number.

   • XLIM Pro
