Step 6: Initiate the Flash
- Power off your MT6765 device completely (remove battery if possible; otherwise hold power 15 seconds).
- Click the Download (green arrow) button in SP Flash Tool.
- Now, connect the powered-off phone via USB cable to your PC.
You will see a progress bar. The phone will handshake via preloader, switch to download mode, and the flashing will begin. Do not disconnect during this process (2–5 minutes).
Error 4: Phone disconnects at 100% DA
Cause: Windows power management automatically suspends the USB port. Fix: Go to Device Manager → Universal Serial Bus controllers → Right-click each "USB Root Hub" → Properties → Power Management → Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device." sp flash tool 6765

Error: STATUS_DA_HASH_MISMATCH (0xC0070004)
Cause: SP Flash Tool’s default DA is incompatible with MT6765’s secure boot.
Fix: Load a custom MT6765-specific DA file (extract from your stock ROM folder or use MTK_AllInOne_DA_v5.2128.bin). Warning: Flashing firmware carries risks
5.3 Flashing Only the Recovery (TWRP)
To install a custom recovery on MT6765:
- Deselect all partitions except
recovery. - Load your TWRP image (renamed to
recovery.img). - Click "Download" and flash.
Step 1: Extract and Organize Firmware
Extract the downloaded stock ROM ZIP. Key files you must locate:
- MT6765_Android_scatter.txt (critical – this maps partitions).
- preloader_mt6765.bin (first-stage bootloader).
- DA_SWSEC.img (Download Agent – sometimes bundled separately).
- Partition images:
boot.img,system.img,vendor.img,userdata.img, etc.
