Engine - Xcom Enemy Unknown Cheat
Paper: Using Cheat Engine with XCOM: Enemy Unknown — Risks, Methods, and Ethics
Part 4: How to Use a Cheat Table (Step-by-Step)
- Open Cheat Engine and attach to
XComEW.exe.
- Load the Table: Click the folder icon (top-left) → Browse to your downloaded
.CT file.
- Activate Scripts: You will see a list of options (e.g., “God Mode,” “Infinite Money”). Click the box next to each to activate. Some scripts have sub-options (activate by clicking the
+ symbol).
- Freeze Values: For values like “Meld,” you can click the box in the “Active” column to freeze the number so it never decreases.
- Hotkeys: Many tables include hotkeys (e.g., F1 for God Mode, F2 for One-Hit Kill). Check the table’s description.
3. Spawn Unlimited Items
In Enemy Within, you can duplicate rare items. Search for the number of Arc Throwers you own (e.g., 2). Sell one at the Gray Market. Search for the new number (1). Buy one. Search for 2 again. Once you isolate the address, change it to 20. You now have 20 Arc Throwers.
4. Mission-Specific Cheats
- No Interceptor Repair Time – Launch damaged interceptors immediately.
- Always UFO Crash Site – Force landed/crashed UFO on any abduction mission.
- Infinite Mission Timer – Stop turn limit for bomb disposal, EXALT relay, or council missions.
- All Civilians Saved (Terror missions) – Instantly flag them as rescued.
Part 2: How Cheat Engine Works with XCOM
Cheat Engine operates by scanning the RAM (Random Access Memory) of a running process. Unlike game console cheat codes, which are hard-coded, Cheat Engine locates dynamic memory addresses, locks them, or modifies their values. Xcom Enemy Unknown Cheat Engine
